I’ve been reading Anne Truitt‘s journal ‘Daybook‘ over the last few days. It’s a fascinating behind the scenes look at the life of a working artist. As much autobiography as it is daily journal in that it covers not only the day to day trials and tribulations but also describes the events in her life that shaped the person that she became.
